Zazzle is one of my favorite places for unique gifts because of all the customization that is available. I stumbled upon them one day looking for a cool gift idea for my best friend and so I want to share with you some of my thoughts about shopping at Zazzle. First, you can build great one-of-a-kind gifts for everyone of your list. And the personalization options available on almost every product is unheard of! Here are 3 of the coolest gift ideas you can give this holiday season (or even all year long!) They never go out of style!
Custom Chocolate Bars!
I’m so glad I found this! What happened was that last month, I was looking for something to gift my best friend on her birthday and by accident or sheer luck, I stumbled across a review for Chocomize.
The review went on and on about how it was so delicious and how they let you pick your own toppings to create your own personal brand of chocolate. I was like, “Wait, what?” The review was so good that I had to check it out!
So, I searched Chocomize and could not believe my eyes when I saw over a 69 different toppings to choose from and all of them looked really delicious! Chocolate is my weakness and I just couldn’t resist the charm of those fabulous looking candy bars. So, I got one with dried strawberries, pecan and chocolate chips for my friend and one with cookie dough (cookie dough!!!), peanut butter drops and chocolate crisps for myself.
Okay, just take a moment to imagine how awesome those combinations would taste. I couldn’t wait for them to be delivered! And when they finally did come, they were wrapped in gel packs and the bars were not melty at all. If I had the forethought, I would have taken a picture to show you guys how awesome it looked. The chocolate was of really good quality and melted really well in my mouth.
It was nothing like I’d ever eaten before. I would definitely order from Chocomize again and be even more creative with my toppings. Thank you so much Chocomize for thinking of this creative idea!
Custom Sneakers!
Let me start by clarifying a few things first. I’m the kind of girl who prefers comfort over style when it comes to footwear. That’s not to say that I don’t like stylish shoes, because I do. It’s just that the shoes that look gorgeous usually don’t offer much in the way of comfort. More times than I care to admit, I’ve been subject to blisters because I chose to wear high heels for more than a few minutes.
So I’ve been wearing boring and bland looking sneakers and running shoes for a long time now. The level of comfort those shoes offer is just amazing. So what if they are not that good to look at? I was happy to compromise to make my feet happy. That is, until I found these babies.
These customizable Zip shoes offered me a chance at something that I didn’t think was possible. Comfort and style rolled into one? Sign me up!
So, I designed a pair of shoes in my own personal taste. The options they have for customization are really good. Everything from colors to textured print to my own provided images, whatever I wanted to do, it was all there.
The only worry I had was that I’d never tried Zip shoes before and what if the zipper made my feet uncomfortable? But when the shoes arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that my worries were for nothing. I stepped my foot into the shoe and found a soft cushion with a firm base. Very comfortable to walk around in, these shoes were exactly what I hoped they would be!
Custom Wrapping Paper
So, my little godson turned 5 just a few weeks ago and I wanted to do something for him that would make him feel really special. I got him a present which was a Star Wars spaceship and a robot (that round one? I can’t remember its name). He’s really crazy about this series.
So yeah, I got him this special present. But I wanted to make it even more memorable for him this year. For kids, the pleasure of opening a gift wrapper to find something they love is like no other.
But what would make him love the gift before even removing the wrapper? This was the question that led me to do a Google search to find space related gift wrapping papers. One thing led to another and I made my way back to Zazzle which let me design the wrapping paper myself. How cool is that!
It has all the awesome backgrounds already; like names or you can even upload your own photos. So, I picked out a space background and then made it even more special by printing my godson’s name with his picture on that wrapping paper too. This made the wrapping paper more special just for him. You can see how much a kid would love that. I was so happy to see him smile and all excited about seeing his name on the gift wrapping paper, as he was showing everyone at the party his name- even before opening the gift. It was worth all the time and money spent on finding the perfect wrapping paper. I will definitely be using this services again in the future!
